Lekker Eats was born from a passion for fresh, wholesome and globally inspired food, grounded in Chef Jordan’s roots in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Jordan’s culinary journey began overseas after attending culinary school in Cape Town, South Africa. While working traveling aboard private yachts, she cooked in destinations such as New Zealand, Fiji and Vanuatu, where she developed a deep appreciation for sourcing fresh, local ingredients and preparing them with care. Returning to Myrtle Beach, Jordan knew she wanted to bring that passion home. The name “Lekker”, an Afrikaans word meaning “all is good”, captures the joy and vibrancy she experienced abroad and now infuses into every dish she creates. The menu is built on the belief that food should be both nourishing and memorable. The restaurant proudly incorporates fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, partnering with South Carolina farmers and producers to highlight the best that the state has to offer. Every plate at Lekker Eats tells a story of love for food, adventure and community, and their goal is for every guest to leave feeling lighter, brighter and a little more “lekker” than when they arrived.
