Fresh on the Menu helps your restaurant stand out by showing that you are committed to sourcing ingredients grown, raised, harvested, or made right here in South Carolina.

From fine dining to roadside diners, food trucks, bakeries, and cafes—any food service business that supports South Carolina agriculture is welcome.

Be part of a statewide effort to connect people through food, support our farmers, and serve meals that are truly local.

Your Benefits

Visibility

Your restaurant will be listed as an official Fresh on the Menu participant on the Fresh on the Menu website. You will also have access to branding materials that help you share your local sourcing commitment with your customers.

Marketing Support

Fresh on the Menu restaurants benefit from statewide promotion through print, digital, and social campaigns tied to Certified South Carolina. We provide logos, digital assets, and customizable materials to help you tell your local food story.

Recipe Features

Participating chefs and restaurants are invited to submit seasonal recipes featuring South Carolina ingredients. If selected, your recipe may be featured on our website and in promotional materials. We offer an optional “About the Chef” section as part of each recipe spotlight.

Customer Trust

Diners recognize and trust the Fresh on the Menu logo as a symbol of quality and authenticity. It tells your guests that you care about sourcing local and supporting South Carolina producers.

What We Ask

To participate, your restaurant must commit to sourcing at least 25% of your ingredients from Certified South Carolina members when those items are in season.

We also ask that you highlight these ingredients on your menu and display Fresh on the Menu branding in your restaurant or digital spaces.
