About the Restaurant
John Dabrowski opened Local in 2020 with a vision to celebrate community — from the food on the plate to the people behind it. His goal was to feature locally sourced ingredients, collaborate with regional artists and vendors, and give back through community events and charities.
For those of us who weren’t born in this little slice of paradise, we can still remember that first feeling upon arriving in Pawleys Island — the warm smiles, the welcoming spirit, and the unmistakable sense of home. That’s the feeling we’ve captured at Local.
