Grilled Cottle Farms Strawberry Short Cake
- 1 pint of large strawberries lightly grilled and sliced
- 1 pound of cake cut into 12 slices grilled
- Pan Spray
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier
- 1 cup of fresh whipped cream
In a bowl place the sliced grilled strawberries. Sprinkle sugar over the berries and mix in the liquor. To grill the pound cake you need to spray with oil and toast on grill, leaving marks on each side. To arrange the cake place on piece of the cake on a plate, then berries, then cream and top with a second piece of cake. To serve, top with more cream and powder sugar.
